Airwallex Raises $460 Million, Pushing Valuation to $16 Billion
Airwallex has closed a $460 million funding round that lifts its valuation to $16 billion, up from $12 billion just months earlier.
The raise follows a $498 million Series G in December that valued the company at $12 billion, a $4 billion jump in a matter of months. Back-to-back nine-figure rounds in quick succession position Airwallex among the most heavily backed private fintech companies in recent memory.
